Topic 3 Field work and listening: Go out on the field/street and open up to people

We open ourselves to all the knowledge and points of view that exist using participatory listening methods.

  • We can start by doing individual interviews with leaders of entities, associations and groups that are the bridges or “nodes” of the mapping or of the sample
  • We do some workshops with the closest groups to summarize their positions on the problem raised.
  • We continue with the field work conducting group interviews with people from the community who are not organized, and also interviews with groups outside and opposed to the project’s objectives, identifying the networks of trust and internal fears in the communities.
  • We are extracting textual phrases from the contents of the interviews, which show us the main contradictions and most significant contributions, regarding each topic discussed.
